Shake it Baby.

So far today we've had 25 earthquakes, ranging in size from 3.8 to 6.4, and all fairly close to home but up in the mountains. The biggest happened in Biology today. I stepped into the science prep room to get something and the kids got noisy all of a sudden. I stepped back in the room and felt the shaking. I noticed my fish tanks were sloshing so I told the students to get under their desks. They were like: Do we have to. It's not a real drill...???

It's always kind of scary when it happens because you feel so out of control, but really, how much are we really in control of anyway? Even as I write this I am wondering if I feel anoth...........argh!!!
