Arrived in Hong Kong

We're currently on a 5 hour layover in the Hong Kong airport. Can't believe how quiet it is considering there are lots of people around. Special sound dampening ceiling. The flight was good and didn't seem like 13 hours, although I can't imagine how people actually sleep soundly on a plane. Cathay Pacific was an excellent airline to fly with. Great service and food. They have solved the problem of the reclining seats. The seat backs don't go back, but instead, there's a moving inner seat that slides down into the reclining position, leaving the actual seat back in the upright position (and not in someone's lap). Very cool.

More when we get to Kaohsiung.

By the way, if you're going to follow the blog, please leave comments occasionally, so we know that our friends are interested and not just Peeping Toms!! :)

Jealous of those reclining seats - Phillipines Air has nothing like that :(
